Kathy Eckhaus was named 2008 Artist of the Year by Perry County Council of the Arts!

Kathy was awarded this honor because of her support to the arts as the coordinator of the children's area at the annual Little Buffalo Festival of the Arts, as a weaver with items in the Arts Council Gallery, but especially for her establishment of Music Together of Susquehanna Valley. Music Together has added an additional choice for parents of preschool children in Perry County and surrounding communities. Kathy's commitment to the arts is apparent in all she does.
